Make Your Thanksgiving Mango-licious!
Thanksgiving is a holiday of traditions. We all have our favorite dishes that are only whipped up during the winter holidays and spend all year looking forward to them. But, if it were up to me, we’d squeeze a couple new mango recipes on that Thanksgiving table and start some new traditions! Check out a few of our mango fall harvest recipes that will soon become your family’s new favorites.
Brussel Sprouts with Mango and Bacon
Brussel sprouts are having a moment right now! Zhuzh up that standard recipe with two of our fave ingredients: mango and bacon. Anything with mango and bacon just has to be tasty, right? Even the pickiest of eaters won’t complain when you put a little bit of this on their Thanksgiving spread.
Mango Cranberry Sauce
Skip the can and go for a tropical escape with your cranberry sauce this year. The addition of fresh mango and mango nectar cut the tartness of the cranberries for a tasty combination that will go perfectly with your feast.
Mango Roasted Butternut Squash
You can never have enough side dishes at Thanksgiving. And this one is sweet, spicy and fall-flavorful. Think of this one as an alternative to the old standard of sweet potatoes with marshmallows (ok, but you should also make this dish, too, because it’s equally delicious).
Mango Bread
There’s just something about snuggling up with a cup of hot tea and a slice of warm bread. This tasty mango bread is perfect for those after-dinner convos around the table or by the fireplace. The sweetness from the bread will be just enough for dessert or just enough not to spoil dessert!
Mango Almond Custard
Cook up this cinnamony goodness for a sweet treat to end your Thanksgiving meal. If you’re still not on board with including mango in your traditional side dish fare, adding a little to your dessert is definitely the way to go.
