Mango BBQ Brisket

Ingredients

Mango Brisket Sliders   

  • 12 each Slider buns or rolls 
  • 24 each Dill pickles
  • 1.5 lb Mango Brisket 
  • 6 fl oz. Mango Mustard BBQ Sauce 

 Mango Brisket 

  • 2 fl oz. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 5 lbs Beef brisket 
  • 1/4 cup Salt / Pepper/ Garlic Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Chopped onions 
  • 2 tbsp Garlic minced 
  • 1 cup Diced Mango ½ “ 
  • 1 cup Mango Puree 
  • 12 oz Beef Stock 

Mango Mustard BBQ Sauce

  • 1 cup Mango pieces ½”
  • 6 fl oz. Mango Puree
  • 16 fl oz. BBQ sauce 
  • 4 fl oz. Honey mustard 
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Garlic Minced 
  • 2 tsp Salt 
  • 2 tbsp Black pepper

Instructions

Brisket Sliders 

  1. Place buns on platter and place pickles on the bottom bun, top with sliced brisket. 

  2. Drizzle brisket with Mango Mustard BBQ sauce 

Mango Brisket

  1. Preheat the over to 400 degrees 

  2. Using a baking sheet or roasting pan place brisket in the pan

  3. Rub the brisket with Salt pepper garlic mix  

  4. Spread the onions, garlic, and mango over the brisket and pan

  5. Add the mango puree and the beef stock to the pan, cover with foil and bake for 2 hours. 

  6. After 2 hours flip the brisket over and cover with foil and bake for an additional 2 hours. Once fully cooked and tender remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes. 

  7. Once rested slice and serve

Mango Mustard BBQ Sauce

  1. Place all ingredients into mixing bowl and using a stick blender blend all ingredients together. Place into a storage container
