We have partnered with RDBA to bring the mango story far and wide into retail stores across the RDBA network. The RDBA serves as a professional group to more than 400 retail registered dieticians (RDs) throughout the U.S. that most often work in supermarkets helping customers and employees with food and nutrition issues. 


We are working with the mango organizations in the top six producing countries to bring our knowledge straight to the producers during the extension workshops meetings. Research has revealed that quality is a major factor that is important to consumers, along with ripeness, when deciding whether or not to purchase a mango. 

The nominations process for new Board Members is moving forward on schedule. Nominations for the following positions will be submitted to USDA:
  • Two importers from District I*
  • One importer from District III**
  • One first handler*
  • One domestic producer*
  • Two foreign producers

I want to thank mango importers for the outstanding support during the recent referendum. The U.S. Department of Agriculture recently announced the referendum results, and ninety-one percent (91%) of those who voted were in favor of continuing the mango order!
