Grab your flip-flops and your fruit forks, mango lovers because it’s officially the Summer of Many Mango Joys, and we’ve got a juicy lineup that’ll make your tastebuds tango and your heart sing “hau‘oli!” (That’s “joy” in Hawaiian, and trust us, you’ll be using it a lot this season.)

Let’s dive into the summer mango madness!
A Mango & Disney Mashup That Screams ‘Ohana’ for the Whole Family
First stop: Hawaiʻi. More than 500 mango varietals grow in the Aloha State, so it’s only fitting that we’ve partnered with Disney and Fandango to celebrate the highly anticipated live-action Lilo & Stitch film. Just like our favorite blue space alien, mangos are mischievous, lovable and full of personality. Together, we’re bringing that joyful, ‘ohana-loving spirit to theaters and grocery aisles across the country.
Here’s what’s happening:
- Spend $5 on mangos in one transaction (in-store or online) between May 6 and June 15, and submit your receipt here to receive a $5 Fandango Promo Code to see Lilo & Stitch.
- You’ll also be entered into our Unleash the Joy Sweepstakes — one grand prize winner will score a $4,000 tropical vacation for their very own Hawaiian adventure.
- While you’re at it, fire up your tastebuds with these Lilo & Stitch–inspired recipes:
- Big Kahuna Tuna Burger with Mango Slaw
- Little Lūʻau Mango Wrap
- Fresh from the Island Mango Poke Bowl
- Mango Cake! Cake! Cake! Bites (Yes, you know which blue space alien loves cake)
- Lei’d Back Island-Style Skewers
Squishin’ into Summer with Squishmallows
Hold on to your smoothie straws because this summer, mangos are getting extra adorable! We’ve teamed up with the collectible cuteness of Squishmallows for a summer-long celebration of fruit, fun and hugs.
From June 16 to July 31, head over to Mango.org/Summer to enter for a chance to win a limited-edition mango Squishmallows plush toy. These squeezable, huggable pals are the perfect mango-loving sidekick for beach days, bedtime or your next snack break.
To make the experience even sweeter, we whipped up some new Squishmallow-inspired recipes, available on site beginning June 15, 2025.
- Ximena’s Baja Fish Tacos with Mango Salsa – Featuring pillowy fry bread and zesty mango salsa, it’s soft, bright, and totally summer-worthy
- The Mango Squishy Smoothie – Vibrant, refreshing sunshine in a glass
- Mango-Mallow Summer S’mores – Marshmallows + mango caramel = a dessert so fluffy it’ll make your inner Squishmallow do a happy dance
Joy Ride Rolling Through Summer
You didn’t think we’d stop there, right? Our Summer Joy Ride is hitting the road for an encore to spread mango cheer across the U.S.A. We’ll be popping up in sunny spots across the country, sampling fresh mangos, serving smiles, and maybe even dropping a surprise or two along the way. Keep your eye on mango.org for when we reveal the cities and dates we’ll be dropping by.
And mark your calendars — National Mango Day is July 22 — and more fun will be pouring in. Let’s just say, we’ve got something still secret and totally immersive for you that could change how you add joy and save time all at once. You heard it here first.
The Feel-Good Fruit of Summer
Beyond the flavor, fun and fuzzy plush toys, mangos also bring serious feel-good vibes to your body. One ¾ cup serving of mango dishes up:
- 50% of your daily Vitamin C (say goodbye to summer sniffles)
- 8% Vitamin B6
- 8% Vitamin A (hello, glow-up)
- 7% of your daily fiber — all for just 70 calories.
So, when you enjoy fresh mango smoothies on the porch or add chunks to your favorite salsa, know your body approves of this naturally invigorating fruit.
Let’s Make Mango Memories This Summer
Summer only comes once a year — but mango memories? Those are forever. Stay sweet, stay squishy and stay tuned at Mango.org for all the mango-fueled fun. Hau‘oli summer, friends!
