These easy, homemade sour fruit mango cubes are the ultimate snack alternative to candy — tangy, refreshing, and totally addictive!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh mango, cubed
  • Juice from 1/2 of a lemon
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 2-3 teaspoons citric acid (or more to increase sour taste)

Instructions

  1. Cut and cube the mangos.
  2. Add cubes to a bowl and squeeze out the lemon juice on top. Toss with a spoon to mix – make sure every mango cube is covered in juice.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and citric acid together.
  4. Sprinkle sugar and citric acid mixture over mango cubes until fully covered.
  5. Place mango cubes on a baking sheet lined with wax paper and place in the freezer for 3 hours.
  6. Remove from freezer and enjoy!
