Matcha Latte with Mango Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 whole ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 -2 Tbsp water
  • 1-2 Tsp matcha powder
  • 4 Tbsp hot water
  • 1 tsp of honey or sweetener of choice
  • ½ cup milk of choice
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. To prep the puree, combine the diced mango and 1 -2 tablespoons of water in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the mango puree into the bottom of a glass.
  4. Add in ice cubes.
  5. Gently pour the milk over the mango puree, leaving room for matcha.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with hot water until fully dissolved and frothy.
  7. If desired, add honey or preferred sweetener to the matcha and stir until combined.
  8. Slowly pour the prepared matcha into the glass of mango puree, milk and ice.
  9. Stir well and enjoy.
