Mango Brie Bites
Ingredients
- 2 fresh mangos ( diced )
- ½ red onion (diced)
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger (minced)
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- Cinnamon (a pinch)
- 1 package of premade pastry dough
- 1 wheel of Brie cheese (sliced)
Instructions
- Prepare the Mango Chutney:
- In a saucepan, combine diced mango, red onion, ginger, a splash of red wine vinegar, and a pinch of cinnamon.
- Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens into a rich chutney.
- Assemble the Pastry Bites:
- Cut the pastry dough into small squares with knife and press each piece into a muffin tin to create a cup shape.
- Place a slice of Brie cheese in each pastry cup.
- Bake the Bites:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake the pastry and Brie bites for 8-10 minutes or until the Brie has melted and the pastry is golden brown.
- Finish and Serve:
- Remove the bites from the oven and immediately top each one with a spoonful of the warm mango chutney.
