What is the National Mango Board?

If you’ve made it this far, you may be thinking to yourself, “What is the National Mango Board, anyway?” The National Mango Board (NMB) is an instrumentality of the United States Department of Agriculture, which is a fancy way to say that we’re an arm of the USDA that solely focuses on mangos.

The NMB is a national promotion and research organization supported entirely by the mango industry to help increase the consumption of fresh mangos in the United States by inspiring people like you with fun blog posts, delicious recipes and more!

In addition to marketing to consumers like you, we also focus on the industry as a whole. From grocery stores to restaurants, the NMB wants more mangos to be front and center of both stores and menus. We’re also constantly doing research to help educate growers, shippers, packers, importers and more to help the entire supply chain deliver a fresh and tasty fruit.

At the end of the day, we’re a group of mango-loving people made up of marketers, researchers, industry members and more, all with the same goal – get the US to eat more mangos!
