Summer of Mango: Boozeless Beauties
Some days, you’re just not feeling like having a cocktail. Especially on super-hot days – those delicious concoctions can dehydrate you. Look, we’re not knocking a good cocktail, but we do have a few of our fav mango-licious, non-alcoholic drinks. These are great for family-friendly parties, poolside get-togethers or a fun afternoon treat.
There’s been quite a bit of buzz around this one. Have you heard the correct way to pronounce a mango lassi? We thought it was pronounced like the heroic sheltie dog, too, but it’s come to our attention via Twitter, that it’s actually supposed to be said “lussy” rhyming with fussy. The more you know!
This delish South Asian drink is perfect for impressing your friends. Between the fancy ingredients (cardamom??) and knowing the proper way to pronounce it, your pals will think you just stepped off the plane from India.
Continuing our world tour, why not whip up a Mexican mangonada? This perfect blend of sweet and spicy is very popular in Mexico and the southwest states of the U.S., but it hasn’t really caught on elsewhere. We sure don’t get it – this drink is heaven on earth.
And to cool off on a hot summer night, we highly recommend this blended mango limeade. From the tart lime, sweet mango and cool mint – you’ll be feeling super refreshed after just one sip. We dare you not to drink the entire pitcher.
We bet you’ll be buying mangos are summer long, just so you can keep a fresh stock of these super tasty drinks in your fridge.
