Mango Squishy Smoothie
Ingredients
2 cups frozen mango chunks (2 medium mangos)
1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (or dairy-free alternative)
1/2 cup milk (dairy, almond, or coconut milk)
1/4 cup orange or pineapple juice
1 tbsp honey
1 banana
1 fresh mango
Natural Food Coloring – Orange (Optional: to create colored swirls)
Natural Food Coloring – Light Green (Optional: to create colored swirls)
1 resealable plastic bag (Ziploc)
Ice cubes
Instructions
- STEP 1 – Start by peeling and dicing the mango into small chunks.
- STEP 2 – Transfer the fresh mango chunks into a resealable plastic bag and freeze them for several hours, or until they’re completely solid.
- STEP 3 – Once frozen, place the mango chunks into a blender along with yogurt, milk, and honey.
- STEP 4 – Add the ice cubes into the blender.
- STEP 5 – Blend on high speed for 2 minutes, until the mixture is creamy and smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey or syrup, if needed. If the smoothie is too thick, add a 1 tsp milk and blend until desired thickness.
- STEP 6 – For a fun visual twist, line the inside of a clear smoothie glass with streaks of food coloring to create swirls. (Optional.)
- STEP 7 – Pour smoothie mixture into glass and stir gently as needed, to adjust your swirls. Enjoy!
