Spiced Mango Daiquiri

Ingredients

Mango Simple Syrup

  • 1 Fresh Ripe Mango
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar

Spiced Mango Daiquiri

  • 3/4 ounce Lime Juice
  • 1/4 ounce Cinnamon Syrup
  • 3/4 ounce Mango Simple Syrup*
  • 2 ounce Jamaican Dark rum
  • Ice
  • Mango Slice (for garnish)

Instructions

Mango Simple Syrup

  1. In a small pot, add one cubed mango, water and sugar.

  2. Bring it to a boil over medium-high heat and once it reaches a boil, reduce the heat to low. Let the mango syrup simmer for 15-20 minutes allowing it to come together before removing it from the heat.

  3. Strain the syrup into a heat proof glass and let it cool before using.

  4. Transfer the syrup to a heat-proof jar and let it cool completely before using.

  5. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.  

Spiced Mango Daiquiri

  1. To a shaker, add all of the ingredients (except the garnish) and shake until chilled, about 7-9 seconds.

  2. Strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a fresh mango slice.
