Grind all ingredients together (except green onion and sesame seeds), then bring to a boil and cool.
Add chopped green onion and sesame seeds.
Use to marinate the meat.
Mix the salsa ingredients together.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and set aside.
Soak short ribs inmarinade for a minimum of 4 hours to get the flavor incorporated.
Remove meat from marinade and grill it until caramelizes a little, a couple minutes on each side.
Serve with steamed jasmine rice and a healthy portion of salsa and enjoy!
