{"id":62006,"date":"2022-11-15T08:36:26","date_gmt":"2022-11-15T13:36:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mango.org\/recipes\/chips-and-mango-dessert-salsa\/"},"modified":"2024-07-29T15:39:33","modified_gmt":"2024-07-29T19:39:33","slug":"chips-and-mango-dessert-salsa","status":"publish","type":"recipes","link":"https:\/\/www.mango.org\/es\/recipes\/chips-and-mango-dessert-salsa\/","title":{"rendered":"Chips and Mango Dessert Salsa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--WPRM Recipe 49859--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Chips and Mango Dessert Salsa<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mango.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Chips-with-Mango-Salsa-150x150.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<ul>\n<li>3 each Ripe Mango<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp Granulated Sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp Fresh Mint, chopped<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp Fresh Cilantro, chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 each Lime, juice and zest<\/li>\n<li>1 box Phyllo pastry dough sheets<\/li>\n<li>2 sticks Butter, melted<\/li>\n<li>1 cup Granulated Sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp Cinnamon, ground<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp Sea Salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>For the salsa, peel and cut the mango into an even small dice and place in a bowl.Add sugar, mint cilantro, and lime zest and juice. Toss lightly to combine. Set aside in the refrigerator until ready to serve.<\/li>\n<li>For the chips, preheat an oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare two baking trays with parchment paper lined on the bottom.<\/li>\n<li>Layout the phyllo dough, so the sheets are flat. Place one phyllo sheet gentlyonto a working surface. Evenly brush a layer of melted butter onto the sheet.<\/li>\n<li>In a bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, and sea salt. Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon of cinnamon sugar mixture onto the phyllo sheet. Repeat this 3 more times so that you have 4 layers of dough.<\/li>\n<li>Using a pizza wheel, cut the sheet into triangles for the chips. Place the triangles onto the baking sheets. Bake for 15-20minutes or until evenly brown and crispy.\n<p>*This salsa can stay in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. The chips can also be made ahead of time and stored in an airtight container until ready to use. Can last up to a week if stored properly.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<p>This is a take on savory chips and salsa, but dessert style. This is a great dessert offering for a picnic or any backyard bash. It\u2019s simple, refreshing, and addictive.
