{"id":44732,"date":"2022-01-20T05:15:58","date_gmt":"2022-01-20T05:15:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mango.org\/recipes\/budin-de-pan-de-masa-madre-con-mango-y-pipas-de-calabaza\/"},"modified":"2024-07-12T16:46:14","modified_gmt":"2024-07-12T20:46:14","slug":"budin-de-pan-de-masa-madre-con-mango-y-pipas-de-calabaza","status":"publish","type":"recipes","link":"https:\/\/www.mango.org\/es\/recipes\/budin-de-pan-de-masa-madre-con-mango-y-pipas-de-calabaza\/","title":{"rendered":"Bud\u00edn de Pan de Masa Madre con Mango y Pipas de Calabaza"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 45019--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Bud\u00edn De Pan De Masa Madre Con Mango Y Pipas De Calabaza<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mango.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Mango-Bread-Pudding-Recipe-Teaser-150x150.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<ul>\n<li>11 oz 1-2 day old sourdough bread (cut in 1\/2&#8243; to 1&#8243; slices)<\/li>\n<li>3 large eggs (room temperature)<\/li>\n<li>2 cups whole or 2% milk<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 cup + 1 tablespoon cane sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp ground cardamom<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp sea salt<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp pure vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1 mango, cut into 1\/2 inch cubes<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup raw unshelled pumpkin seeds<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 cup vanilla ice cream, melted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Grease an 8&#215;8 inch baking pan.<\/li>\n<li>Take two slices of bread and cut them in quarters. Make a bottom layer from these pieces, in your pan. Cube the rest of the bread into 1\/2 inch to 1 inch pieces and fill the pan evenly.<\/li>\n<li>Whisk eggs in a large bowl. Set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Add milk, cream, sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, and salt to a medium saucepan. Stir over medium heat, until mixture is steaming. When you see tiny bubbles around the very edges of pan, pull it off the heat. You don&#8217;t want to get it too hot. Add vanilla once off heat.<\/li>\n<li>Whisk this mixture into eggs, in a slow stream, whisking the entire time, until all is added.<\/li>\n<li>Pour over bread and lightly smoosh down to submerge all pieces, getting a nice even consistency. Let sit for 30 minutes. Add mango and pumpkin seeds to top of pudding, nestling mango in slightly.<\/li>\n<li>Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes, until top is golden brown and there is no runny egg mixture left. It can still be a bit wiggly in the middle, but shouldn&#8217;t see runny custard. Remove from oven and let cool for 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Cut into squares.
