{"id":44683,"date":"2022-01-20T05:14:23","date_gmt":"2022-01-20T05:14:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mango.org\/recipes\/empanadas-saladas-de-mango\/"},"modified":"2024-07-29T15:44:59","modified_gmt":"2024-07-29T19:44:59","slug":"empanadas-saladas-de-mango","status":"publish","type":"recipes","link":"https:\/\/www.mango.org\/es\/recipes\/empanadas-saladas-de-mango\/","title":{"rendered":"empanadas saladas de mango"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 45088--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">empanadas saladas de mango<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mango.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/295_1514020247-teaser-150x150.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<ul>\n<li>2 Tbsp Olive Oil<\/li>\n<li>1 Small Onion (Diced)<\/li>\n<li>2 Cloves Garlic (Minced)<\/li>\n<li>\u00be lb Ground Beef<\/li>\n<li>2 Tbsp Tomato Paste<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd Tsp Cumin<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd Tsp Cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc Tsp Cayenne<\/li>\n<li>1 (14.5 oz) Can Diced Tomatoes<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc Cup Pimento Stuffed Green Olives (Roughly Chopped)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd Cup Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese<\/li>\n<li>2 Large Mangos (About 2 lbs) (Peeled, Pitted, and Diced)<\/li>\n<li>2 Packages Store Bought Pie Dough, Such as Pillbury Ready Roll Pie Crust<\/li>\n<li>1 Egg<\/li>\n<li>1 Tbsp Water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For the Mango Chimichurri:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>1 Cup Fresh Flat-Leaf Parsley<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc Cup Fresh Cilantro<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd Large Mango (Peeled, Pitted, and Roughly Chopped)<\/li>\n<li>3 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar<\/li>\n<li>3 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil<\/li>\n<li>1 Clove Garlic<\/li>\n<li>Salt and Pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<h4>For the Mango Empanadas:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 450 degrees.<\/li>\n<li>In a large non-stick skillet heat olive oil over medium heat, add onion and cook for about 6 minutes, until softened.<\/li>\n<li>Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.<\/li>\n<li>Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink, about 8 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add tomato paste, cumin, cinnamon, cayenne and canned tomatoes, simmer for about 10 minutes until thickened.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer beef mixture to large bowl.
