ManGO in the Classroom

As one of the world's most popular fruits, mangos are a favorite snack for kids of all ages. Mangos aren't only nutritious and delicious to eat; they can also be used for fun and creative classroom projects.
Mango Geography Poster
This classroom poster was featured in the August 2007 issue of Scholastic magazine, Instructor. It introduces children to the world of mangos - where they grow, how to eat them, what they taste like - and features an original mango cartoon character.
The front of the poster provides students with a "taste" of the geography and culture from the countries where mangos grow with a vibrant, colorful map of Latin America.
