Well On Our Way to Reach 2012 Consumer Marketing Program Goals

As 2012 reached the half-way mark, we are seeing strong results, especially in a few key programs like national news bureau outreach, social media and a wedding-themed full-color feature. The national news bureau program involves several initiatives to reach national media outlets, especially major food and lifestyle magazines. The program has earned more than 170 million impressions to date, which is quickly approaching the goal of 185 million impressions for the entire year.

The social media program has already exceeded the annual goal of 250,000 impressions by earning nearly 645,000 impressions to date. We’ve also seen great success by producing a full-color feature on creative uses for mango in wedding-related showers or luncheons. It was released to daily newspapers across the country, earning approximately 14 million more impressions than the goal of 30 million. With two quarters left to go in 2012, we are poised to meet our annual goal of reaching consumers over 1 billion times.
