Mango Postharvest Best Management Practices Manual Available in Portuguese

The Mango Postharvest Best Management Practices Manual is now published in Portuguese and will be unveiled on March 27, 2012 during our board meeting in Petrolina, PE, Brazil. The manual, also available in English and Spanish, is to inform industry members at each level of the mango supply chain, from harvest to the retail store, of the best practices to improve mango quality. Thanks to a sponsorship from Serviço Brasileiro de Apoio às Micro e Pequenas Empresas (SEBRAE), a Brazilian institution that supports and assists in the development of small and micro companies in Brazil, the manual was able to be translated in Portuguese. We are enthusiastic about the partnership with SEBRAE and the opportunity to effectively reach Brazilian mango industry members and better support them.
