Act
The Act is federal legislation under which the National Mango Board was formed. Specifically, it is the Commodity Promotion, Research, and Information Act of 1996(7 U.S.C. 7411-7425), plus any amendments thereto. Click here to see the Act on the USDA web site.
Order
The Order is authorized under the Act, but it is specific to The National Mango Board. The Order is issued by the USDA under section 514 of the Act. The Order outlines the Board structure and rules of conduct which govern how we operate. Click here to see a PDF version of the Order.
