Mango PLU Codes

Several new PLU codes for mangos have been added over the past few years and the National Mango Board wants to ensure that all retailers and mango industry members are aware of these codes. The most recent addition is PLU 3114 for Keitt Mango size 7 and larger. Our goal is that everyone is making decisions using the same set of guidelines, so we’ve created a printer-friendly PLU codes flyer to help spread the word.

Please communicate with your mango suppliers about PLU codes to ensure that you are all working with the same information and assumptions. Produce suppliers often look to retailers to take a lead role in setting up new PLU codes before they will start to label the fruit with these new codes.
