Our goal with this program is to get more coverage for mangos and more positive stories about mangos in the newspapers, magazines and web sites that cover the produce and grocery industries. Advertising helps to focus our message and helps the mango industry to get more coverage.
Trade Media Advertising
We purchase advertising space in publications, timed with relevant editorial coverage. In other words, if a produce-industry newspaper is producing a special section all about mangos, we will work with them on the story ideas and we generally purchase advertising space in that particular publication. Each advertisement is designed to tell a story and get the retailers to take some action to help improve their mango business.
Trade Media Publicity
Retailers and wholesalers look to the produce industry newspapers and magazines for news and trends. Competition for their attention is fierce, so the more stories we can get placed and the more compelling stories we pitch to these publications, the better chance we have of getting our messages heard. We send monthly press releases and work continuously with the editors and writers of these publications to get our mango messages written up in their pages
