Chipotle Mango Cranberry Sauce

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 2 fresh ripe mangos (peeled, pitted & diced)


  1. Add the cranberries, chipotle peppers, honey, brown sugar, water, orange juice and orange zest to a small saucepan over medium high heat.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer until cranberries begin to burst, 15-20 minutes.
  3. Mash the cranberries slightly, then add the diced mango and stir to combine.
  4. Continue simmering on low for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  5. Remove from the heat and chill until ready to serve.
